Refund Policy

This policy applies to purchases of QT Risk Manager plans from Davide Bettio, VAT IT03081340121, Via Miralago 22, Laveno Mombello (VA), Italy. It supplements our Terms of Service. Beta licenses are free and involve no payment.

1. EU right of withdrawal (14 days)

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of its conclusion without giving any reason (Articles 52 et seq. of the Italian Consumer Code, implementing Directive 2011/83/EU).

2. Immediate access to digital content

QT Risk Manager is digital content supplied without a tangible medium: your license key and download are made available immediately after payment. At checkout you are asked to:

1. expressly request that we start supplying the digital content immediately, before the end of the withdrawal period; and
2. acknowledge that, by doing so, you lose your right of withdrawal once supply has begun.

If you give this consent and acknowledgement, the right of withdrawal ends when your license key is delivered (Article 59(1)(o) of the Italian Consumer Code). We confirm your consent in the order confirmation email. If for any reason we did not obtain it, you keep the full 14-day right of withdrawal and will receive a full refund if you exercise it.

3. Cancelling a subscription

• You can cancel at any time from the billing portal in the customer area.
• Cancellation stops future renewals. Your license stays active until the end of the billing period already paid, then expires.
• Amounts already paid for the current period are not refunded pro rata, except where required by law or in the cases described in this policy.
• If you forgot to cancel and a renewal was just charged, contact us within 7 days: we will consider a refund of the renewal if the license has not been used since.

4. Faulty software

If the Software does not work as described and we cannot fix the problem within a reasonable time, you are entitled to the remedies of the legal guarantee of conformity, including a proportionate price reduction or termination of the contract with a refund (Articles 135-octies et seq. of the Italian Consumer Code). This right is not affected by the loss of the right of withdrawal.

5. How to request a refund or withdraw

Send a clear statement to info@qtriskmanager.com, or open a ticket from the customer area, including:

• the email address of your account;
• your license key or the invoice number;
• the reason (optional for withdrawal).

You may use the model form below, but it is not mandatory.

6. How refunds are paid

Approved refunds are issued within 14 days from the day we receive your request, using the same payment method you used (via Stripe), unless you expressly agree otherwise. You will not incur any fee. The license concerned is revoked when the refund is issued. Depending on your bank, the amount may take a few additional days to appear.

7. Business customers

The right of withdrawal applies to consumers only. Customers buying for business purposes (e.g. with a VAT number) are not entitled to withdrawal, without prejudice to the other provisions of this policy.
